The Finance Department consists of the Secretary/Treasurer, Vacant, Assistant Secretary Treasurer Vacant, and the following departments: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Revenue Accountant and Office Support.
Accounts Payable
Daire Ceh, Senior Accounts Payable Clerk Elaine Montgomery, Revenue Accountant Carmen Chabot, Intermediate Accountant Brenda Burrows, Junior Accountant
Daire, Brenda and Mona are responsible for the payment of all invoices and expense claims for the Division. They assist with concerns regarding expenses claims as well as any other matters dealing with accounts payable.
Carmen is responsible for the Student Records System, Divisional Housing Damage Deposits and assists with questions regarding the Division’s Insurance policy, Capital equipment, purchasing supplies and cash advance for field trips.
Payroll
Sharon Higginson Lynn Petluk
Laurie, Sharon and Lynn issue all payroll cheques for the Division, including: teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, bus and wagon drivers and casual and substitute staff. They also assist with questions with respect to benefit plans, T4’s, and leave entitlements.
Office Support
Ann Rosin, Administrative Assistant Susan Doerksen, Finance Secretary Kathy Vogel, Receptionist/Print Clerk Marj Lubbers, Records Management Clerk
Ann Rosin is the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, Secretary-Treasurer and the Chairman of the Board. She is responsible for the Office Support group, organizing various administrative, board, and committee meetings, including the preparation of agendas and minutes.
Kathy Vogel is the receptionist for the Division, answering telephone calls and greeting the public and is also responsible for outgoing mail, printing, binding and distributing print jobs.
Holly Harrop provides secretarial support to the Finance department. Some of duties include arranging Board Meetings which includes booking hotel rooms, arranging flights and arranging meeting rooms when required. She is also responsible for the Long Service Awards event and ordering and distribution of promotinal materials for the Division. Marj Lubbers, Records Management Clerk, is responsible for the records of the Division which includes electronic filing as well as some paper filing, file storage including disposition and inventory of electronic and paper documents, and assistance and/or training to staff members in the retrieval and research of records.
