Our school is tucked away in the hamlet of Keg River, Alberta which is located on the original site of the Slavey and Cree Indian summer camp. We take our name from the world famous pioneer doctor (Dr. Mary Jackson) who came to the community in 1931 and practiced out of her farm house until 1975.
We have the latest in computer technology in our classrooms and a modern computer lab to offer a compliment of CTS subjects in grades 9 to 12. Cree 10 is offered via video conference from our Cree classroom with an instructor and assistant.
Our playground has the latest apparatus for energetic youth including a football / soccer field, baseball diamond, paved tennis / volleyball court and open air skating rink. We also have an activity room offering students and the public an opportunity to play indoor games and host other activities. |
